DIRECTIONS 

Our church is located near the intersection of South Broad Street and Bayway Avenue, between Highway 1 & 9 and Exit 13 of the New Jersey Turnpike.

 DIRECTIONS FROM THE NJ TURNPIKE

Take Exit 13. Stay on the right hand lane through the tolls and up the ramp. Proceed through the traffic signal at the top of the ramp. You will be on Rt. 439 / Bayway Avenue. Go to the third traffic light, which will be South Broad Street.  Turn right and go 1/2 block. First Assembly of God will be on the left hand side at 645 South Broad Street. Enter the parking lot through the driveway next to the church.

DIRECTIONS FROM HIGHWAY 1&9

Driving from the North on Hwy 1&9. Immediately after passing McDonald's on the left hand side, prepare to make a right turn. After passing the Olympia Diner on the right hand side, make a 45 degree right turn onto Garden Street. Drive one block to South Broad Street and turn right in front of Burger King. Drive across Highway 1&9 and pass one traffic signal. First Assembly of God will be 1/2 block further on the right hand side next to Santillo's Pizza. Enter the parking lot through the driveway next to the church on the south side.

Driving from the South on Hwy 1&9. Upon entering the Elizabeth city limits, prepare to make a right hand t urn at the Bayway Circle. Turn right and make a quarter turn onto Bayway Avenue / Rt. 439. Proceed to the second traffic light. Turn left at Broad Street, and drive 1/2 block. First Assembly of God will be on the left hand  side at 645 South Broad Street. Enter the parking lot through the driveway next to the church.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY

Driving from the North on the GSP. Take Exit 140A to Rt. 82 East / Morris Avenue. Follow the signs to Kean University. Once on Morris Avenue / Rt. 82. Proceed East until you see Kean University on the right hand side. At the end of Kean University's property, make a right turn onto North Avenue / Elmora Avenue. Proceed on Elmora Avenue until you arrive at the Bayway Circle and Highway 1&9. Complete 1/2 of the circle and continue on the other side of Elmora onto Bayway Avenue. Proceed to the second traffic signal. Turn left at Broad Street and drive 1/2 block. First Assembly of God will be on the left hand side at 645 South Broad Street. Enter the parking lot through the driveway next to the church.

Driving from the South on the GSP. 

Take Exit 11 onto the NJ Turnpike if driving from points south of Exit 11. 

Follow the directions for the NJ Turnpike from the south.

If arriving after Exit 11, take Exit 140A and follow the directions for the GSP above.

  • Minister, missions visionary Dan Sheaffer dies

    Dr. Dan Sheaffer, the former pastor of Crossroads Cathedral (AG) in Oklahoma City, known for effectively raising millions for AG missions and AG higher education, passed away Thursday.

  • Fisherman back on feet, thanks to Convoy, MAPS

    Jimmy Morgan, an oyster fisherman from Louisiana, had his house and boat destroyed by Katrina in 2005. Hundreds of church groups, MAPS teams, Convoy of Hope teams and volunteers headed to the region to help families like the Morgans get back on their feet.

    Experts are predicting that India will become the most populous country in the world as soon as 2020 — the India Assemblies of God plans to have 25,000 new churches planted by the same date.

  • Dick Gruber honored for work by "Children's Ministry Magazine"

    Dick Gruber, Valley Forge professor and former Children's Ministries consultant for the Assemblies of God, was recognized as one of the top 20 influencers in children's ministry in the September/October issue of Children's Ministry Magazine.

  • Three-time AG college president passes

    Klaude Kendrick, who served as president of three different Assemblies of God institutions of higher education, passed away Saturday. He was 93.
